A native of Baltimore, Carl graduated from Towson University and then was commissioned as a US Naval Officer in 1986.  He served eight years as a Surface Warfare Officer leading deck operations and engineering teams on a Naval Destroyer and a detachment of three amphibious assault hovercraft.  Afterwards, he completed his military service spending two years on the Chief of Naval Operations staff at the Pentagon. Carl then moved on to a successful civilian career in operations and sales with blue-chip companies including General Electric, Yum Brands, Jones Lang LaSalle, and Best Buy. In addition, Carl brings over 20 years of Military Transition and Finance/Accounting executive search experience to Cohen Partners.  He consistently helps organizations across the United States find and hire exceptional talent by bringing a number of solutions to bear when tackling client hiring needs.
